Sunny San Diego
I'm currently in San Diego, having returned home on Tuesday night. I'll be here for about another week. So far, it's just been my mom and myself, but my brother will be coming home tonight with my sister. It's so warm and sunny down here.. this afternoon, we went to my mom's company picnic in Mission Bay. They had some good BBQ and some other fun activities going on.
Studying
For the past ~4 weeks, I've been studying for Step 1 of the US Medical Licensing Exam. Just like most other things on the path to becoming a doctor, it's a pretty big task to take care of. I'll be taking it on Tuesday, June 20th. If you happen to be think of me that day, prayer would be greatly appreciated!
Sayonara
My wonderful girlfriend left for Ecuador earlier today. She'll be doing some awesome medical missions work with Global Health Outreach for a week. I was quite sad to say goodbye to her when I left on Tuesday. The next time I'll get to see her is when I'm back in Portland on June 26th, and that will only be for a night since she will be heading out to Chicago the next day to spend 5 weeks doing some inner city missions work. What an amazing girl with a huge heart for serving God and doing His work.. Boy, I sure am going to miss her a lot!!
