Yum, Yum
On Monday night, I invited a friend over for an Italian-style dinner. I was sorta inspired by the cooking show Everyday Italian on Food Network featuring Giada De Laurentiis. I made lots of goodies.. some fresh-baked ciabatta bread, butternut squash soup, basil-butter sockeye salmon, and a tomato-based creamy shrimp and tri-color peppers linguine. I'm glad that the food turned out pretty tasty and that it was well-received.
 Hey Mambo, Mambo Italiano
Golf, Golf
With the beautiful weather, I was in the mood for some mini-golf. So, a friend and I crossed the state line and headed into Vancouver, Washington to the Hazel Dell Golf-O-Rama. For only $3 each (what a deal!), we took on the 18-hole North course. I ended up winning by 3 strokes, and as a prize, I was awarded an opportunity for getting a massage from my friend. I'm planning to save it for a time when I'm more stressed and the tension starts a buildin' in my neck. At that point, I will happily redeem that prize. =)
