Swing, Swing
Last night, I had a great time with a friend for some free swing dancing (lesson plus open dance) at a place called Nocturnal in southeast Portland. We had a fun time learning some new moves (actually, it was mainly just me learning because she is an accomplished dancer) and then practicing them on the dance floor. I wish I knew more and was more polished, because then I would be able to lead better and could show a girl a better time. Afterwards, the two of us were quite thirsty and in the mood for smoothies. But being 10pm at night, there really weren't any places open besides Starbucks and some bars. Fortunately, Starbucks had a blended, iced strawberry/lemonade drink that was very reminiscent of a Jamba Juice Strawberries Wild (which is my favorite Jamba).
