Sunriver Ski Trip
I spent this past weekend in central Oregon at the Sunriver resort and snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor. With new tires, my car handled the snowiness quite decently on the drives there and back. Despite the cold and blizzardy weather, the snow was nice and powdery for boarding. Fortunately, I had picked up a new scarf at J.Crew on Friday and started using the built-in hood on my snowboarding jacket (which helped to shield against the wind and wetness), so the cold didn't bother me much.
My cabinmates this year were a cool bunch of laidback and humorous folks. We all had a homecooked chicken dinner together on Saturday night before stopping by the all-hill party.
Of course, the trip was over too quickly, but it was a good time spent relaxing and having some fun. And now, back to work we go..
