Turnin' Up the Heat
The Heat Is On
With overnight temperatures dipping into the low 30s, I've decided that it's time to turn up the heat (literally). I actually tried to do this yesterday, since OD was coming to stay as a guest, but the burners in the wall-mounted gas heater just wouldn't stay lit for some reason. I attempted to re-light the pilot and turn on the burner many times before giving up for the night. Today, it took several tries, but finally, it's staying on now.
Hot Party
On Friday night, the OHSU School of Medicine c/o 2008 hosted a winter formal party/dance with a "007: Tomorrow Never Dies" theme. For $10/person, we had access to a nicely decorated venue for mingling, dancing, and food/drinks (with or without alcohol). It was a punctuated (only 3 hours) but fun time to see everybody dressed up and hanging out socially outside of class.

Hot Body
"A great body never goes out of style" (Synedrex commercials). I've got a hot body, but not like the ones in those commercials. Having worked out vigorously last week, many major muscle groups in my body have been sore since Thursday. Interestingly, it's true what they say about inflamed tissues (tendons/muscles). Besides feeling internally that my muscles are on fire, they are also warm to the touch. I'm looking forward to "cooling off."
