A Closer Shave
My old electric shaver was purchased almost 6 years ago. Back then, there was a website that offered products very cheaply for just the price of shipping/handling. Although $10 is kinda steep for S&H, it's a miserly price for a cordless triple-headed shaver. It was far from the best, but the "Generation" brand (ever heard of that? neither had I..) device still did the job day in, day out. Fast forward to 2005 and enter the next generation of shaving technology:
This is the Remington MS2-370 Titanium MicroScreen 2 Shaver. I seem to like 1) things made with titanium like my titanium Citizen Ecodrive watch and 2) things with extra-long/fancy names like my Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen NX 30GB.
While the foil-style screens (as opposed to flexible heads) prolong the amount of time it takes for me to shave, I have noticed that I'm achieving a higher degree of closeness. So far, the only real downer is that it's kinda noisy (don't be fooled by it's compact size.. under that sleek, silver casing is a powerful 8500rpm electric motor).
