Incomplete
Backstreet Boys
Empty spaces fill me up with holes
Distant faces with no place left to go
Without you within me I can't find no rest
Where I'm going is anybody's guess

My home-gym thing the total Bodyworks is Back, Baby! I loaded the 90lb behemoth into my car on my recent trip back up to Portland from the Bay Area. I've said it once and I'll say it again, simply lifting this thing and carrying it around is a workout. Setting it up, though, gives you access to the numerous "gym-quality" exercises it features. My favorites are using it for pull-ups, bench-press, bicep curls, chest fly, arm pullovers, and military press.

Grocery Spree

As a single guy who goes grocery shopping every 2-3 weeks, I don't usually spend very much. Except this time, where I rang up a bill totaling $114. My spending wasn't exactly balanced, wich a heavy emphasis on the meat and beverages. Since it was on sale, I splurged and bought a 3.84 pound leg of lamb. I haven't decided what to do with that yet (but it's likely to end up as either roast lamb, lamb curry, or both). This trip, I totally stocked up on the fluids.. my shopping cart was the epitomy of hydration: milk, two kinds of orange juice, two kinds of grapefruit juice, Crystal Geyser water, 5 varieties of Gatorade, some Sobe drinks, and a case of Corona Extra. Don't worry, I also purchased some fruits/veggies in the form of peaches, plums, strawberries, peas, broccoli, and cauliflower. That way, I can at least attempt to maintain some semblance of healthiness.

Yobo-Studio v2.0

Instead of just cleaning my apartment this weekend, I decided to rearrange things as well. Although I didn't move around too many things, as a consequence of the rearranging, my apartment seems bigger and roomier. I now have a large empty space in the middle, which is advantageous for laying around or working out or whatever. It's a nice (and welcome) change to the feel of my place.

Poppin' By

Tonight, I popped by Popeye's for dinner with Lisa. While I'm no stranger to the tastiness that is Popeye's, it was her first time. Fattening as it may have been, it really hit the spot. The biscuit, mashed potatoes with cajun gravy, and juicy, spicy cajun fried chicken were all very good. And since we dined in (at least that's why I think it happened), each of my pieces of chicken was a quality one.

QuickCam Fun

I don't use the webcam function of my Logitech QuickCam Messenger much, but I do take pictures of myself from time to time (ok, you can call me vain, but just don't call me lame - even though it's probably true).
