Dollar Days


Dog chow? With milk??

Nope! That's cereal I bought for only $1 per box. From the taste of it, I understand why it was so heavily discounted. The gimmick is that it's a low carb, high protein cereal. And like all gimmicks, it won't last unless there's something real backing it. This cereal definitely didn't. Despite the soy content (which I would normally enjoy), the taste and texture just didn't add up.


Bargain cereal: Not worth the dollar it cost me

heh.. kinda looks like that, huh? the bowl's actually quite deep with a decent amount of milk in there. but i'll admit, that i poured a huge amount of cereal into that bowl (to finish off the box), and essentially ran out of milk as i poured it into the bowl (so the milk to cereal ratio is a little less than what i might normally have).
