Scene It
The beautiful weather of San Diego greeted me pleasantly this Thanksgiving. This is what I saw as I stepped outside after landing around 5pm on Thursday:

Spending time with family in San Diego translates to plenty of good eating. Some exploits of this weekend:
Turkey, honey baked ham, sticky rice, and other goodies for Thanksgiving
BBQ chicken pizza and spinach salad at Pat&Oscar's
Homemade pork/shrimp dumplings at the Lai home
Pai gu fan (pork chop rice) at Trieu Chau Restaurant
20 oz prime rib, potatoes au gratin, caesar salad at Carver's
Dim sum at Emerald's
Also got to see good friends again including Vince, Jenn, David, Annie (and Sean).
Sitting here in my 35°C room, I gave in to buying some much needed "winter items." Fortunatley, they didn't end up costing me very much since I utilized some Amazon gift certificate funds I have collected over the years. I'm big on the fleece:

Funny comment from the weekend:
Dad (to me): "How did you get so big? Did you use steroids? Because you shouldn't.. they aren't good for you.."
And now tis back to the grind for me.. only three more weeks until WINTER BREAK!
