Happy Thanksgiving!
Post-exam, I enjoyed a delicious meal persuaded by tv commercial advertising (a footlong Subway classic meatball marinara submarine sandwich). Also got to watch two excellent films: "Garden State" and "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow." Both of which I would recommend seeing. Natalie Portman's character in "Garden State" is exceedingly endearing. And "Sky Captain" is like an animated comic book, complete with fun banter. Tomorrow morning it's off to the airport, bound for Sacramento. But only temporarily, as I continue my way down to San Diego for a Thanksgiving at home. Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon.. what a short (but much needed) vacation. Like any other day, there's much to be thankful for, indeed.
