Peek a Boo
I see you!
Who knew that having a webcam could be so fun. It's not 100% useful, but still quite entertaining. With it, I've managed to give virtual tours of my studio apartment to two good friends (Mochi and Wenge) who are hundreds of miles away. Also, had video chats with OD and Superman, both of whom have webcams of their own. So, not only could they see me, but I got to see them, too. In doing this, you can actually see that my facial expressions change while I chat. For example, typing "heh" means I'm smiling and "hehe" usually means I'm chuckling to myself. Apparently, OD is a stoic chatter, showing little to no emotion (that's an observation worthy of a "hehe" I made yesterday). The funniest is from my brother, with whom I was able to get video (me to him) and audio (both ways) going. He said it was kinda freaky whenever I looked directly into the camera (perhaps because it was late at night and I was making strange faces at him). All three of the messaging programs I use support it right now (AIM, Yahoo Messenger, and MSN Messenger). So, if you're interested in "seeing" me (or "hearing" me for that matter), shoot me a message (you may have to upgrade to the newest versions of the programs for it to work, though).
