Doublemint
This weekend was doubly good. Having two friendly visitors (Superman and Oregon Duck) come up on Saturday, we had the opportunity to grab dinner at a trendy place in downtown Portland called Aura. Afterwards, we checked out Powell's Books, the world's largest used and new bookstore. The festivities continued today when they came to church with me at Mosaic, we went window shopping at Pioneer Place, and then returned to my apartment to rest a bit before heading out to dinner. For dinner, they kindly treated me a restaurant in Chinatown called Golden Horse Seafood Restaurant. The cuisine was good, and the portions were nice and large (I have plenty of leftovers).
So what else was good this weekend? Getting to steal Eek away from studying to have dinner with Superman and Oregon Duck on Saturday. She's so pleasant. Consequently, I am in a more pleasant mood from having spent time with her. Now, that's a fresh feeling!
