Convoluted trip to Safeway
The map below (check it out.. I'm a med student, but I took a good 5 minutes out of my busy schedule to make it) sort of speaks for itself. Last night while going to get some stuff at the supermarket, I took a wrong turn and got lost. I ended up driving on local highways through what can best be described as a forest with roads through it. There were so many trees around and very little civilization. Fortunately, I found my way to a Safeway in Tigard, which is a lot farther than I needed to go for groceries. I'm happy because I now have vegetables to eat. That and Tuna Helper Creamy Broccoli (my FAVORITE flavor) was on sale for $0.99 per box. What a deal!

A couple of very loosely related observations:
1) I bought Spiderman (from Kelloggs) cereal and promptly noticed with my first bowl that it is a rip-off of Honeycombs (from Post). The "spiderweb" pieces are exactly like "honeycombs," except that some of the pieces also are colored (berry-flavored).
2) Having very few dishes = more work. You'd think that having less dishes would mean washing less dishes.. but no no! I find myself washing dishes 3 or 4 times a day (pretty much after anytime I eat). I suppose it's a good habit.. I'm glad that I no longer have to pay for water (and consequently, take AT LEAST two showers per day, mainly because it's good to clean-up after gross anatomy lab or else you'll smell for the rest of the day).
