Everybody Hurts
(especially me)
Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. and everybody hurts sometimes
I've had an interesting and uniquely painful weekend. As I sit here, I am plagued by a mild fever, a couple of canker sores, a small cut on my tongue, sore abdominal muscles, tight neck and back muscles, and a Grade I sprained ankle. I got all teary-eyed from munching on some tomato slices at the LSF 4th of July BBQ because of the excrutiating pain from my mouth problems. On the subject of tears, I felt really sad and almost cried during a part of the movie Spider-man 2 (perhaps I'm holding too many emotions in, ones that want to come out).
Anyway, my body's got a lot of work to do, trying to recuperate. Since it is battling bodily damage on so many fronts, it may take longer to heal than normal. I've been trying to rest more, but having a day-time job doesn't help.
Man, it's annoying to be injured.. this sucks, I want to go home now.
