On Saturday, a group of us found ourselves in the Doghouse (not because we were in trouble, but because we were in the mood for some dancing action). Arriving at 7:30pm, we took a basic Lindy lesson with Ken & Jen. We only got to learn 4 basic moves, but it was enough to get us started. Come 9pm, we were swinging away on the dance floor upstairs. The most impressive performer that night was Mochi, who was able to stylishly keep up with any of the guys who asked her to dance (she was quite the popular one). A dance place is a great place to pick up girls. Gives me motivation to want to practice and get better at dancing, although not quite enough motivation to actually make me go out and really do it..
