Snagged Me Up
This morning, I was painfully dealt with by my electric shaver when it stopped abruptly while I was cleaning up my facial hair. The problem was two-fold: 1) I had not shaved in 2.5 days, making my hairs longer and thicker than usual, and 2) I had not charged my electric shaver (it's cordless) in a while, making it super weak. Turning it on, it looked as if it was running fine/smoothly as usual. Getting into my hairs, the rotating blades locked up and snagged me up good, pulling on them. I had to resort to shaving by razor, of which I only had this really cheap, disposable one from a Holiday Inn or something that I had already used several times. Coupled with my lack of shaving cream/gel, the dullness of the blade proved to be a harsh experience for my face. And since the topography of my mouth/chin area isn't flat (who's is?), I always end up with some cuts of skin in addition to the removal of hairs. Needless to say, the electric shaver is currently plugged in and rejuicing for its next call of duty, which by my calculation (more like an estimation) should be on Sunday morning.
