Staying Put
The lease to our apartment in Redwood Shores is up at the end of April, so Vince and I went in to talk to the leasing people about renewing our lease yesterday. Originally, they had sent us this list of renewal prices that was unacceptable (they were going to raise our monthly rent by $140 per month). Our current living situation is pretty good (quality/location of the apartment), so we didn't want to bother with the hassle of moving. Fortunately, when we went in to speak with the leasing agent, we were able to renew the 12-month lease at the same rate that we are currently paying. Long story short, we are STAYING PUT.
