A Musing
Since I work in a lab, I occasionally have to don a labcoat. Unfortunately, the selection of lab coats on the lab coat rack here isn't that great. Consequently, my lab coat doesn't fit very neatly on me. This only became an issue today. With the onset of pleasantly warm weather, I wore shorts to work. While waiting to take the elevator downstairs (yes, yes, I'm lazy..), the woman who popped out said "hi" and then did a double-take. Seeing my lab coat and my bare legs beneath, she exclaimed, "Whoa.. for a second, I thought you didn't have anything on underneath your coat." I looked down and understood what she meant.
