H-aloe!
I'm big on aloe vera, the gel that comes from the aloe plant. I think it's awesome stuff for your skin, hair, etc. Lately, all my personal products are aloe-based. My shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and lotion. The lotion was a really great deal.. less than $4 at Walmart, and I got this big bottle that had "30% MORE FREE." Pure aloe vera gel is the best. I remember being in some class where the teacher brought in an aloe plant and we broke apart one of the leaves to get at the gel. That gel was very soothing and good. But buying pure aloe gel can be prohibitive based on its price (ranges from $4-$15 or more for a small tube or bottle, depending on brand/purity/quality of the product).
It may have a tough-looking exterior, but its insides are full of soothing gel:
Unguided Haircut
I finally got a haircut on Wednesday afternoon. Normally when I go, the person asks me how I want my hair cut. I usually don't even have to say very much. Something to the effect of, "shorter all around, and thin out the top." But this woman didn't say anything to me. When I walked in, she just pointed to an open chair. I sat down, she put the smock on me, and began cutting. I didn't say a thing! Anyway, I like what she did, but it's not as short as I should've gotten it. Now, I'll probably have to go back in less than a month for another cutting..
Rockin-Ports
My Rockports are awesome. I just played tennis in them today while wearing khakis. My old Rockports were good, too. Once, I went running in them at the gym in Berkeley. Comfort, support, AND style. Nice!
