Tire-some

For some reason, the car trouble I'm most prone to having is related to my tires (the next most popular thing is a complete engine failure). In my experience, I've had tire trouble 6 times now (including the most recent time). Once, my tire blew out while coming back from LA late at night (had to change that one myself). Once, I found my tire was flat after work one day. Once, my tire blew out while driving to Magic Mountain with some friends. Once, my tire blew out while driving up to Berkeley from San Diego during the summer. Once, I found my tire was flat after playing tennis at a co-workers' apartment complex. And once, after church this past Sunday, some people noticed that my right front tire was flat. Interestingly, it happened to be the same tire that had previously been repaired after being punctured by a nail. I initially attempted to have that same tire repaired at America's Tire Company, but the guy said it was irreparable. Having over 27k miles on each tire, I figured I might as well switch them up. Especially, since I will be driving down with ET, I didn't want to have any tire (or car) trouble, especially since we'll be driving at night (and most repair places will be closed). When replacing tires, it is recommended that you change them in sets (at least the front 2 or the back 2, or all 4). So, 2 days later and $186 poorer, my Camry is now sporting brand new tires in the front (and the spare is back in it's place, ready to be commissioned, if needed).
