Sleepless in Sunnyvale
It's dark outside and the building is empty. Yet I am sitting here reading some stuff. I woke up particularly early this morning (around 4:30) and decided on heading to work instead of going back to sleep. It's not that I couldn't sleep, but rather that I chose not to. Consequently, I am running on 3.5 hours of sleep voluntarily (hence, "sleepless" = "sleeping less").
What surprised me was that the carpool lane on the I-101 actually starts at 5AM. That's pretty extreme considering that there were very few cars on the road at that time. So, even with so few cars on the road, I was still limited to using only the right 3 lanes. Sad..
I'm quite hungry, too. I think I'll pick up some McDonald's breakfast when they open. With my hash brown should come a couple more game pieces to the Monopoly game. I'm still waiting to find my "$1,000,000 Instant Win" piece.
Anyway, back to work for me.
