Opposites Attract?

Apparently, there is now a scientific study demonstrating that, in fact, opposites do not attract. Read about it here. So, what's my take on that? I really don't know how much you can try to figure about people's attraction to other people. Of course, you might be able to discern some general cues, but I think it's really something personal and there will always be exceptions to the rule. For example, their categories for basis were:
• Wealth and status
Now, I wouldn't *mind* if the girl was wealthier than I..
• Family commitment
This category is hard to compare
• Physical appearance
I definitely would not want to find my female equivalent in strength (or someone whose face resembled mine either)..
• Sexual fidelity
This is the one category we would have to share.. loyalty and faithfulness to each other.
On a deeper level, for many girls, I wouldn't even be able to comment on whether I thought they were necessarily similar to or different from me because it's hard for me to tell. Plus, I've been attracted to (and still am) girls that were very different from each other, too. Anyway..
