Beef: It's what's for dinner
TONIGHT (literally)

Gonna be having prime rib at Broadway Prime Rib in Burlingame, CA. I read some reviews about the place, and supposedly, the quality of the food is as good as House of Prime Rib in SF. That's quite a claim. I'll see if that's really the case.. I even had a (relatively) light lunch today in preparation for having some good meat for dinner. Some co-workers and I ate at Thai Basil, a restaurant down here in Sunnyvale which bears the same name as the Durant Food Square place. Besides their names being the same, the restaurants don't really share anything in common. One notable example is in their combination fried rice. If you're ever eating at the Thai Basil in Sunnyvale, DO NOT get the fried rice. It just comes out really weird.. I ordered some fried rice (they call it "Thai Basil Style Fried Rice") with beef, expecting there to be small strips or thinly sliced pieces, but no no..it came with GROUND BEEF, and not very much either ("where's the beef??"). Plus, the rice was some strange variety that cooked up extra small in kernel size. I had the pad see ew instead this time, and was not disappointed.

Anyway, the point is, if someone were to come up to me and in the style of milk commercials ask, "got beef?" I would be able to answer, "yes," that is assuming that you asked me after about, let's say, 8:30pm tonight. =)
