Song Without Words
In the soundtrack of life, certain songs have no words. They represent the times when words simply cannot express how low the spirit is or how heavy the burden feels or how long the days draw out or how deep the emotions run or how much the pain hurts. As the light grows dimmer, the only voice you hear is the one from yourself crying out for some release. In these restless times, it's hard to persevere. And it'll take more strength than you could ever muster up on your own. It is then that we seek the comfort and peace that only God can provide. Lately, I think a lot of people (myself included) have found themselves listening to this track. Trying as it may be, the song is beautiful and immensely moving. Let it stir our hearts to move beyond the suffering towards serenity.
"Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him." -Psalm 62:5
"One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, and that you, O Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done." -Psalm 62:11-12
