Nutritious Ramen?
Centrum is known for having good, complete supplements. One tablet has 100% of every imaginable vitamin and mineral out there. But make no mistake, it's not a good idea to naively add a Centrum to whatever food you're eating to try and make it more healthy. Take, for example, Top Ramen. Ordinarily, it's nutritional value would be neglible (in some ways, negative). So, how about adding a Centrum to boost it's health rating? Umm.. not quite a good idea. Although I must admit that somehow the beef flavor was sorta enhanced (or at least modified) by the Centrum, the look/texture of it is rather unappealing. I figured the Centrum would dissolve right away in the hot soup, but no, it just shed a coating and turned into this hard white chunk, which sank to the bottom. "Oh well, I'll just start eating," I thought to myself. Lo and behold, about 3 minutes into eating, I noticed that the little white pill was gone. But it left behind little bits of white (probably from the casing) and a pile of sand-like grains in my bowl. While the noodles taste fine, the soup looks decently nasty because it's got uncharacteristic sedimentation (and not good sedimentation like in miso soup...mmm, miso soup...). Ugh, I don't think I'll be finishing my soup this time..just looking at it is kinda gross.
Lesson: Top Ramen can't be improved upon (it's already the best..it ain't called "Top" Ramen for nothing).
