Happenings
Work is alright. Low on frills, but it pays the bills. Since last Thursday (4 days ago), I've driven over 900 miles (I just filled up my tank for the THIRD time tonight). But that included a good but short and fun yet tiring trip to Tahoe with some fellow LSFers and Crossroaders. Karaoked on the car rides up and down from Tahoe with Eileen, Evert, and Edena. Karaoked at Music Box with Frances, Cynthia, Cindy, and Harvard. I rocked my car at the Border's in Emeryville (the right corner of my rear bumper is dented/scratched). JennHwang rocked her ankle while snowboarding. The black diamond ski slope at Northstar almost rocked me (after I tried to do a jump). Jonathan's car was stolen this past weekend, but the police recovered it minus the stereo, the wheels, and the steering wheel..what a sad and troubled world we live in. Spoke to the junior high schoolers at CFC on Sunday with Frances, Evert, and John (we were sharing to them about our career fields.. they were a fun bunch). Watched "End of Days" in the hotel room at Harrah's in Reno (it featured plenty of bad theology). Watched the movie "Basic" yesterday afternoon with Jerm (funniest line being: "so let me get this straight..you got cold and so you decided to take OFF your shirt?"). Watched "Zoolander" at Harvard/Eileen's place earlier tonight (Matilda: "I was bulimic." Zoolander: "Wow.. you can read minds?"). Haven't eaten a meal at home in days (Fresh Choice - Sat. night, Isobune - Sun. lunch, Popeye's - Sun. dinner, Penang Village - Mon. lunch, Sushi House - Mon. dinner). Song in my head: Earth Angel (most people have one..who's your earth angel?). Life summary: eating/spending/driving/feeling too much; studying/sleeping/exercising/guarding too little.
