Day-stream
when the activities of days to come just don't yield for a break..no foreseeable rest for a while..
It's 3am and I'm still up because I got back around an hour ago from hanging out tonight, and not being in the exact mood for bed, decided to post some pics from the festivities tonight.
What's on my mind? Not too much.. sometimes you just wonder what's going on in your life because it's hard to tell at face value. I usually try to assign some sort of subjective description to days. For today, I would say it was good. But I'm always very hesitant to give that mark for what often accompanies good is a bad. Hopefully, that won't be the case.
I've been listening to a lot of what I call "poor player" songs these days (songs that either describe a guy poor in riches or poor in the relationships area of his life). What do I mean? This playlist includes songs like "Two Prince" by the Spin Doctors, "I Will Buy You A New Life" by Everclear, "All I Have To Give" by Backstreet Boys, "Invisible Man" by 98 Degrees, "Nobody Knows" by the Tony Rich Project, and the like. If you recognize these songs, you can get a pretty good feel of the mood of this playlist. It's times like these when I wish I was either rich or in a relationship. Naive as it may sound, I figure one of those two things (or the null probably possibility of getting BOTH) would lift my spirits immensely.
Do bad things happen to good people? Sure..but good things rarely happen to bad people. It's been a rainy season and the clouds are just too thick. Through the storm, will there really be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Perhaps..now if only I could get there..
