To Ski or Not to Ski?
..that is the question
Lotsa Crossroaders and some LSFers are going to Tahoe this weekend. I'm going, but I haven't decided on whether I should ski or snowboard. The situation is as follows.. I'm a pretty decent skier. I've been many times, and I know that I would have a good time. But I hear that snowboarding is quite fun. Being a complete beginner at it, though, I might have to spend a long time trying to just get used to it before I can fully enjoy it. With the risk that I suck at snowboarding, it really won't be much fun the entire day. Should I trade guaranteed enjoyment (in the form of skiing) for the possibility of attaining more enjoyment (in the form of snowboarding)? It's almost a philosophical question.. so I'd like to conduct a MINI-POLL:
