How Deep Is Your Love?
I'm starting to have some symptoms of a cold. So far tonight I've had plenty of soda, so hopefully, I'll be better by morning. In the midst of my sniffling and sneezing, I thought of a random scenario which I would consider cool. One of the more touching gestures a girlfriend could do for me in the future would be to be willing to hang out with me closely (i.e. holding hands, sharing a blanket while watching a movie on tv, or the ultimate in intimacy, kissing me) despite me having a cold. Like I wouldn't necessarily encourage any of this, but if it didn't bother her, then I'd be OK with it, too. Sounds dumb at first, but I really think it shows a sense of self-sacrifice, and that our being together somehow transcended the issue of me being ill. In fact, her willingness to likely catch the cold from me just to be with me is quite endearing. Anyway, just a random thought. (If this entry sounds too random, I'll just blame it on the head congestion that is clouding the rationality of my thoughts.)
