Freedom From Taxes
I know that some of you wake up in the morning and say to yourself, "I like that Yobo. He's a stand-up guy. How can I be more like him?" Well, one thing you can do is to get started on filing your tax return early. Instead of waiting until April 14th (the deadline to file is April 15th) like the rest of the American public, I'm already done filing my taxes. And it was really easy to do online. Especially for those of you who are students with part-time jobs or if you only worked during the summer, you definitely qualify for free tax filing. Just check out www.taxfreedom.com for more info. It's a good/safe/fast system run by Quicken's TurboTax in which I've used for the past 3 years (including this one). For the 2002 year, the government withheld more than $500 extra of my (hard-earned) money than they should have. So, within the next several weeks, I should be getting that money back, conveniently direct-deposited into my checking account.
[BTW, I'm just joking about people wanting to be me. But before you come to any conclusions, try walking in my shoes. You won't know until you try. Because the truth is.. I'm more than a bird, I'm more than a plane. More than some pretty face beside a train. And it's not easy to be me.]
