Tonight was the second episode of Joe Millionaire. The show is similar to the Bachelor, where 20 women are competing for the attention of one man. However, they are made to believe he has just inherited $50 million, when he is really a construction worker who makes $19,000 a year. Evan's (the guy) goal is to find a woman who is genuinely interested in him and not the money. I think the show was very well made.. it's funny! Like this episode, in order to "test" the women, he took them on dates in groups of four, but made them do some real work before they got to enjoy the rest of the date. This includes getting down and picking grapes in the rain, shoveling coal into a steam locomotive's boiler, and cleaning up dirty horse stalls. At the end of the episode, he narrowed the group down from 12 to just 5 women. If you've missed the episodes so far, they're having an encore presentation of the first two episodes on Thursday night starting at 8pm.

While watching the show, a commercial for Juicy Fruit gum came up. I don't know anybody who doesn't like it. Although there's no way to pinpoint exactly which fruit you're actually tasting, it's just got a good flavor. The only problem is that the flavor is gone so quick. Even before you have time to put the gum away, you find yourself adding additional pieces into your mouth just to make the flavor last a bit longer. And, of course that can only go on so long because your mouth is only so big and soon your mouth is stuffed full of gum, which is soon to become flavorless rubber. But ah look.. it's "New Longer-Lasting Juicy Fruit."

I haven't personally tested this product out myself, but it's definitely something that Wrigley should've come out with 100 years ago when they invented Juicy Fruit (but they didn't..probably because they were making more money by making people buy more packs).
