On Friday night, carpooled with Karyn (isn't it cool how she spells her name?), one of Evert's classmates from high school to LSF Friday. She recently moved to San Mateo and works at Siebel (joining the ranks of people like Harvard, Dave, Benny, and Ernie). It's always great to have the company of a nice person (if it's a girl, that's a bonus) while driving around. From our conversation, I learned that she (like me) is a pretty big fan of food in general. Whether it's Japanese or Italian or whatever, she'll appreciate it. And I appreciate that. (But does she appreciate fast food? That has yet to be determined..)
After LSF, we stayed and watched the movie The Count of Monte Cristo. According to Evert, it was totally not like the book, but nonetheless, I think it was a great movie. In fact, I even posted a review of the movie after watching it for my first time on September 11, 2002.
