My car is officially DEAD. Had my car towed 60 miles to Union City last night (wasn't exactly legitimate how I accomplished this). This morning, dropped off my keys with the mechanic. Just called them back. Apparently, I have a broken rod bearing (you can read about it here). Two things to figure out: 1) what to do with my inoperable vehicle and 2) what kind of new car in the $14-18k price range to buy and where to buy it..any suggestions?
