Ever been to TK Noodle? It's a restaurant chain, sorta Southeast Asian-style food, with various rice and noodle-soup dishes. It's not that good. But every place deserves a chance, at least once. Now after going there, try visiting New Tung Kee Noodle. You'll get a sense of deja vu..the menu, dishes, and everything is like the same.. But wait, how can that be? They're different restaurants, right? And they're named differently... Interestingly enough, the New Tung Kee Noodle is a rip-off (not spin-off) of TK Noodle (notice it's called "Tung Kee," which can be shortened to "TK"). They aren't owned by the same company, but since TK Noodle didn't trademark their stuff, New Tung Kee totally bit off of them. A questionable choice since TK Noodle wasn't very good to begin with...but anyway, just wanted to share because that's where the LSF Monday lunch group ate today.
