Wasted an hour last night watching "Life-Size," a Disney movie about a Barbie-style doll named Eve who is transformed to become a real person (reminds me of another story of a toy turned real.."I'm a real boy!"). Eve is played by model Tyra Banks, which is interesting how Disney got her to do this movie. Especially considering the all-to-predictable plot and cheesy quotes. Even so, Jerm and I had a good time making fun of it.
Speaking of making fun of stuff..do you joke around with your co-workers or classmates much? Apparently, Jerm and Vicky (Florida) do. Their co-workers rip on each other SO much. A snippet from Jerm's work:
Man 1: (speaking to his mother on the phone about a broken water pipe at their house) Blah blah blah...mom, mom!
Man 2: (only hearing the last two words of the conversation) Hey..calling one of those 900 numbers again, eh?
Man 1: Yeah, well...I guess I should probably stop calling...I'm getting tired of talking to your mom.
A snippet from Florida's work:
Man 1: (to single, 35-year old woman) Hey, why don't you go home and cry by yourself, since you don't have any friends!
Man 2: (to the same single, 35-year old woman) Why don't you go outside and get hit by a bus?
OKOK...those last two are just plain mean. I imagine that those hurtful comments made to that woman probably make her sad. I would be...
