I've been working here for a month and a half now, and I finally got a phone at my desk. They gave me a phone number when I first started, but what good is having a phone number without a phone? You guessed it..none. If I gave out that number, the only thing people could do would be to call and leave me a voicemail. And me, not having a phone to tell me I have a message, wouldn't check my voicemail (using someone else's phone, of course). Thus, I would not get that message, and then people would be like, "Why didn't you call me back?" And I'd be like, "Call you back? To call someone 'back' would require that I be called in the first place." And they'd be like, "Well, I did call you, and I even left you a message." And then I'd be like, "Ah, ok...that makes sense... you see, I don't have a phone, yet. Sorry about that." And they'd be like, "Yo man, why'd you even give me this bum number then?" And I'd be like, "Hey dude! Chill...it's all right, because I have a phone now." And they'd be like, "What? No, you don't. You just told me that you didn't have a phone..." And I'd be like, "Oh wait, you're right. Darn." I'm glad that that won't be happening anymore...
