I almost got burned last night as I baked a casserole. As I took the food out of the oven (since it was done), the bottom part of the dish fell down, leaving me with just holding the rim and handles to the dish. The dish came crashing down and bounced back into the oven, spilling its contents all over the bottom of the oven, the oven door, and on my pants (with a little on my shirt). Apparently, I was using a casserole dish that wasn't "oven-safe." But by definition, a casserole is supposed to be baked..so why would they even manufacture such a thing?? Needless to say, I threw away the useless thing (what was left of it anyway).
Josh ate what was salvaged from the casserole.
